Grateful Heart Cards

These are the cards that I made for the new Holiday Expressions card swap with some fellow consultants. Each of them were made using the Grateful Heart Paper packet X7237B.

This first card uses both the scrapbooking and card making stamp sets, item numbers D1794 and C1727. The butterfly was stamped on Goldrush card stock (X6005) and then colored with the clear shimmer brush (Z3293). Inks used were New England Ivy (Z2835) and Sapphire (Z2848)

This second card was inspired by one that I saw on Pinterest. It uses the same papers and Pomegranate ink (Z2854) and Sapphire ink. The little arrow is from the Grateful Heart Cork Shapes (Z4229).

This final card uses a Cricut sunflower and leaves from the Flower Market cartridge (Z3501) and some of the Fern Stitched Ribbon (Z4215). These two cards used stamps from the same two mentioned above.

The New Holiday Expressions is Here!

The September special is called Memories in the Making. It is a new Cut Above Calendar kit! All of the pieces are cut for you. All you need is adhesive and you will complete a title and 12 monthly layouts! There are also two stamp sets available that coordinate so that you can stamp your calendar dates. I completed mine in about 6 hours total. The stamping took the longest! I am planning on adding pictures as the new month changes.

New Seasonal Expressions & Three Cards

The new Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog is filled with many fun things! Including some brand new products in our Story By Stacy line. Yes, Stacy Julian is back with CTMH and teaming up with some very fun things...more to come! I just got my little story starters and am hoping to post one soon!

Here are three cards made with some of the new products!

All of the cards are made using papers from the Documented collection. This first one also uses stamped images from D1772 Documented-Scrapbooking and two Story By Stacy stamp sets D1784 Colorful Texture and D1786 Quotable Words.

This second card uses the Documented Papers X7234B and the Documented-Cardmaking set C1719.

This last card features Cricut images from Flower Market and the stamped sentiment from Documented-Cardmaking. All three cards were embellished with Documented Dots Z4177.

Stargazer Layout

Here is a fun layout featuring the Stargazer papers (X7229B) from CTMH. I also used the Block Alphabet Thin Cuts (Z3386) for the title Discover. The Stargazer Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts (Z4157) were used for the right hand page and the little sentiment on the left page. The pages were also embellished a bit with the Stargazer Dots (Z4143). Fancy Fold card with Chelsea Garden

This is a wonderful card kit that my friend Sandy brought me to assemble at the scrapbooking retreat I attended in mid-February. She had all the pieces cut, scored and stamped. All I needed to do was assemble the pieces and color the butterflies, which I did with our watercolor pencils and the shimmer brush. It is hard to tell in this light, but they sparkle! Thank you so much, Sandy for thinking of me. Love this card!

Sympathy Card with Chelsea Garden

This is a card that I made from some extra flowers that were stamped for a different project. I love when things pull together easily! The stamp set is D1760 Chelsea Gardens-Scrapbooking. I used Linen ink Z2824 for the leaf image, Charcoal ink Z2831 for the flower centers and sentiment and Glacier ink Z2841 for the flowers. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set C1639 called Take Heart but you could use a different sentiment from your stash. I mounted it on a White Daisy card base at the suggestion of my friend Liz. We were both attending a weekend retreat. Thanks, Liz!
